I don't know what is Tea's issue, i've been keeping track of my prefs and they don't seem to vanish.
This program does exactly what I need it to do. Create preview icons. I really like that it doesn't change the modication dates, it doesn't touch the data at all. It just adds a 50k resource file. I think the default resource file with the generic JPEG icon is 12k.
I turn off anti-aliasing, turn off border and i turn off shadow. the shadow is created within the frame of the icon, so you'll see a smaller view. it's nice but i don't use it.
I LOVE, just absolutely love that i can watch how many files have been processed on the dock. I can drop a few thousand jpegs and it counts them down as its finished processing.
I prefer it much over GraphicConverter and am glad to find it can replace the old DropIcon.
I agree with another comment that the dock icon isn't the best, but you get used to seeing it.
I've only run it on JPEGs, so i can't say how it handles other file types.
so far so great!
