Could not get functioning with Radeon 7000

Feedback Type:  Usage Tip

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

Recommend Product: YES

I have a PCI Radeon 7000 and could not get the patch to work because it threw up an error saying my CoreImage binary was different than the one it knew. Is this radeon not high end enough for the patch? It appears so to me, but I hope the developer can prove me wrong.

Got it - mzeb

I manually got the MD5 Checksum myself from the md5 command and replaced the first entry in the main script in the program's resources with it. So far it's worked well. No hosing of the system. The check sum for me is as follows:

5617cf473cbbf297a4bc6cdce4f8b39a

Hope this helps anyone else who might run into this.

Got it - ZackS

That's probably very, very not good to do. Those md5s are there for a reason! In 3.1, I'l change the way this works and include instructions on making your own patches, which should be much safer than just disabling the safety features by changing the MD5 it checks for.
