Way to go, Apple! Corporate greed continues to cleave its talons into Apple's soft underbelly.

Xgrid beta allowed you to run the client, the agent or the controller on any capable computer, from 10.2 on up. Now, with the official release, you can only run the controler on 10.4 SERVER, and the client on 10.4. The Grid, which was supposed to be an enabling technology allowing you to freely tap into your unutilized computer power, is now a costly proposition.

I wonder in which other ways will Tiger be crippled so that you will be unable to run "server" type things on the clients and not undercut the sale of the more profitable server version.
