We have been waiting for this exactly how long? Now they will make it 10.4 only, leaving all 10.3 with the extremely inferior "old Java".

Apple is, in fact responsible for the jre and jdk for Mac. And, yes, they seem to be handling it very poorly. It's a shame, too, as Java is a much more capable development environment than most Mac only users realize.Friday, April 29 2005 @ 03:17 PM PDT
