Hi,

first of all thank you very much for this app, because basically it is exactly what I was searching for, however there are some details which cause problems in my special situation:

I wanted to copy 20 GB of MP3-Files from my PowerBook to our PC with Win XP (via Ethernet).
Copying in the finder did'nt work because of invalid characters in the filenames. So I tried Kopymac and it seems to do what I expect it with OS 10.3.9.

BUT, after having copied one single folder (and each and every folder afterwards) there is an error message, that the file /Foldername/Icon could not be found. So each time I have to klick OK and this is annoying and time consuming, cause copying only progresses if I klick OK...
-> couldn't such error messages be saved in a report which is shown at the end of (or better while) copying?

The second problem: a status message or something similar would be great, because If you copy 20 GB like me, it would be nice to know how long it will take...

Best regards

Martin

"file not found" error and usability commentary - Digitol3

Hello, Yes actually that's exactly what the new version of KopyMac does..it continues copying and produces an error log on desktop if there was any trouble. In addition I have completed the recursive or nested file handler. :)
