All these changes and still no way to "open" a folder or file from the keyboard?

So I'm on a server with 1,000 files and folders. I type on the keyboard. It scolls toi the item I want in the list of files - good! Now I have to reach for my mouse to open it. Now I switch back to the keyboard because this folder has 1,000 files in it. I find the file I want. Back to the mouse - double-click. Back to the keyboard. No, forget that - back to MacSFTP.

This is the simplest of user interface requests!

Still no "Open" Command? - oivindi

There is a general "open" command built into OS X.

Use COMMAND + <arrow down> ... and, voila! - the folder opens!

Use Command + Up/Down Arrow - cabelsa

Actually, it's actually been in Transmit since v2 -- and it's the same in the Finder:

Command+Down Arrow goes into a folder
Command+Up Arrow goes to a parent folder

Hope this helps!
