i have a g5 june (2004) with Pioneer DVR-117D.
Update firmware can't update my superdrive.
it's normal?

it's not that it 'can't' update your superdrive, it's just that your superdrive doesn't need this particular firmware update. the update is only for certain drives and not the one you have.
