Transmit is great. And although it's prob the most expensive of its class, it's a solid package and I'm not going to argue against the price.... for those who need the advanced interface. However, if you're just looking for an FTP/SFTP util, check out the free CyberDuck and Fugu. If the demo of Transmit convinces you that you need what extra it offers, then by all means enjoy. Again, it's a nice app by good Mac developers and I support their commercial efforts wholeheartedly. But please be aware that there are more options these days.
