I have been using e2sync from late beta onwards to load my contact information into my iPod via isync. You know what? It just works like it is supposed to. I have not tested their tech support yet because, well, I haven't needed it. FYI: Be sure to read the release notes with each new version. You will save yourself much annoyance.
Compare the above experience with PocketMac's products. I have purchased a personal copy of PocketMac for iPod and a corporate copy of their Blackberry sync software as well. In both cases, the software NEVER worked for me and tech support dropped off the face of the earth after the second or third email exchange. After Googling my heart out, either the PocketMac products work "out of the box" or don't work at all.
Hope this is useful.
Yours,
Jason
