Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

This application has the workings of a gem. It's an excellent flashcard replacement. While many have tried, this one seems to have the ability to go the distance. Adding cards is easy, and the extra fields features (think itunes adding playlist criteria) make it very useful for things like foreign languages where a gender is critical to correct learning.

Having said that, the title of the application is somewhat appropriate. You have to select english in two drop down menus (so far, although there may be more). The translation is good, however the menus under file, such as services, are not localized. A global preference for the language would be one of the minimum fixes for interface.

While backpacking is a little rough on some things, I don't think it's beta by any means; unless you think everything is beta. This is a stable application with a few cosmetic/localization issues and it is extremely useful.

Thank you - hydrogenetic

Thank you very much for your comments. We will take a look at our localization, this way the application will also work perfectly for our English users. We are trying to get the localization right for the next release of Backpack.
