This app is one of the most indispensable apps on my computer. It's amazing what a time saver it is to just type the name of a program, address book entry, bookmark, system preference pane, etc. rather than hunting for it in the filesystem.

I even used launch bar to open up this versiontracker entry - command space to bring up launch bar, type versiontracker, then hit space to get a search field, type in launchbar and hit return. Pretty amazing.

I really hope that Tiger's Spotlight doesn't kill this app. From what I've seen of Spotlight, launchbar will still be faster and more useful for some things.. But they *are* pretty similar apps.

Don't give up on launch bar - perhaps integrate the Spotlight technology for the underlying search engine, but provide a cleaner and quicker interface than Apple's?
