Wouldn't start up!

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: NO

I installed the Qt 3.3 package, and then installed fracplanet, but it wouldn't launch. So, thanks, but no thanks. If you're a user who doesn't want to jump through installation hoops, this probably isn't for you.

Also, the fact that it requires Qt, which isn't freeware, to run, means that fracplanet is freeware only for those who already have Qt.

Wouldn't start up! - slartibart

gentle persons,

of course is there a GPL version of trolltech's Qt 3 C++ framework for the Mac. If you don't want to compile it by yourself, download a binary installer for MacOSX 10.3.x of Trolltech's free Qt/Mac 3.3.4 *THIS IS NOT QUICKTIME* from http://naranja.umh.es/~atg . That's it.

cheers,

Markus

Pardon me, but QtMac 3.3.4 IS freeware and downloadable through the ATG homepage.
