Like Chevyorange, I encountered the bizarre "Daylight Savings" bug. My Mac's clock automatically adjusts for daylight savings time. The radio stations I listen to, also adjust their clocks accordingly. But for some strange reason, radioSHARK actually decided to change the scheduled recording times by an hour. What the heck? Why would the software do that?

Actually, the Daylight Savings bug is the most minor bug of all. I can only get radioSHARK to record my scheduled recordings properly less than half the time. Most of the time, the recording is nothing but a perpetual half-second loop! Other times, the recorded file is not usable, consisting of a .mov file and a zero kB .m4a file - and the .mov file cannot be opened by Quicktime player or iTunes.

Other times, the file is playable in iTunes - but is still screwed up - having random skips in the audio. frequently, these skips are minutes long, making the recording unusable.

Basically, I've been ripped off. And this has all been using the latest update to their software!! This product does not work as advertised.

Terrible! - chevyorange--2008

I was having the same problems you were having until I convinced Griffin to send me a new 'shark. I have had about 95% less problems with the new one, less skipped recordings, more reliable importing into iTunes.... I'd give it a try - the do seem to want to make things right....
