re: won't download... - Mike Abdullah

From the Developer,

I personally have no problem downloading it from version tracker's link. It could have been that the hosting site was down temporarily. Try it again and hopefully it should work.

8pm, and trying again, no luck.
am on 10.3.8, using safari.

i tried unchecking "open safe files" in prefs, etc.

also tried to access http://solewood.atspace.com/ directly, and would not load.

not sure why, but everything else is working...

re: won't download... - Mike Abdullah

It appears that the problem is ISP related. Some ISPs block access to atspace.com since apparently it is commonly used to send spam from. With the new release there is now an alternative download location.

Since releasing version 1.0, Pause is now hosted on a different server, so you should no longer have any problems.

Not a review - Xeater

Listen, if you can't download the app, then either there's something wrong at your end, or there's a problem with the developer's server. The quickest way to get the dev's server fixed is to contact him DIRECTLY not by posting a complaint at VT where he may or may not visit often.

You might check out Mac OSX hints for help on how to use OS X and the internet, or contact your ISP, or purchase a book on OS X. There are many places to get help, but the VT comments areas are not one of them. They are not chat rooms. We cannot start a thread on your problem and track down the source of your download disorder.

Geesh, this is the FOURTH time today I've checked for an app and found a comment by some tool complaining that the app "don't download" as if this were a bug in the app that made it digitally untransferable.
