I've been using MGW for a few months and evaluating it against eGroupware, its only other competitor in my mind. MGW installs easily and is easy to administer. The install includes many modules that you can activate via one click.
Only more.groupware and eGroupware have all the needed features PLUS a kickin' eMail webclient. IMHO, MGW's eMail browser-based client is best of breed. Very "outlook like" and professional.
There are many, many groupware solutions out there. However, very few incorporate an integrated Webmail component.
The project manager is very easy to use and intuitive. There are two choices for calendaring, two TTS systems, internal messaging, RSS feeds, and more. The user/developer community is active and friendly.

NTLM Authentication + MGW - dc01
Hi!I tried enabling the .htaccess authentication in MGW, however, even after carefully reading the login code and ajusting the environment to deliver the exact results required, the best I could achieve was and endless loop sending the browser forth and back between index.php and
index_ntlm.php.
