After recently upgrading to OS X 10.3.8 (but NOT applying the newest client security patch), I've begun to notice that PureAudio has become more touchy about which flac files it plays. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not.
Beforehand, it played them all -- although some didn't play properly, making a rhythmic thump thump sound, tho' they decoded alright. Now, it plays some flacs fine, and others seem to get loaded into the playlist alright, but they don't play and nothing happens when you hit the play button. Playing shns seems unaffected.
Has anyone else noted this sort of behavior? My system is a clean recent fresh install... Or are there indeed some flacs that are easily played, and some that aren't, and it's just a coincidence that I've noticed it now?
