Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

I have used this product for half a year now and I use it more and more. I am now at a point where I don't even start MS Word for days on end.

NeoOffice is now feature rich, outstandingly stable and very friendly to use. Help and spellcheckers are available in many languages and integration with OS X is almost perfected. The only downsides are the ugly linuxy file picker and the icons, which might put off a first-time user. But after getting past these visual annoyances, it is a joy to use.

Support from both the developers and the user community is excellent (and documentation and tips are being collected in a wiki).

On hardware, I would encourage 512MB of RAM or more. It seriously improves the speed and responsiveness of this rather large application.

It is very satisfying both to see this product mature over a period of mere months and use it every day.
