When the application is not registered you will occasionally see a nag dialog and *some of the archived data is scrambled*. As a result of this, *it is not possible to use the archives created during the trial period*.

According to the developers notes, v1.3b2 did away with the "scrambled data" method of copy protection. A very wise move, IMO.
