Recommend Product: NO

The lack of knowledge of English is bad enough. The lack of knowledge of statistics is even worse. Your money is better spent elsewhere - even on Excel, which is superior. Aabel would be a MUCH better choice.

A real piece of merde. - mericqsoft

dear sir
I am an independent developer, doctor in a French hospital, and I answer your message, even if my English is not perfect.

1) It is not very nice of your share to treat my software of "merde" (in french), but I took account of your remarks... and I thank you for having tested this software.
2) I worked to improve English in the last version of StatisticS (4.0.9) which is currently on the site.
3) StatisticS is not a software of statistics like the others : it is addressed to people who do not have enough competences in statistics to use other softwares... but the statistics that StatisticS presents are completely exact from the scientific point of view.
4) I defy you to also easily obtain so many graphs (modifiable, browsable and sortable) with Excel in a few minutes, even if you are an expert in Excel.

I hope that you will test this software again, in his version 4.0.9, and that your opinion about it will improve.

best regards
O. Mericq

A real piece of merde. - JHardy

Look, we can make this a battle or you can take my comments for what they are - an honest evaluation of your product. I'd feel differently if this was a shareware (or free) program but you are representing it as a professionally produced statistical analysis system.

I have many statistical programs so my students can see what is available when I teach Chemometrics - I'd like to think I know a bit about such programs. Your program simply is not worth the 100 euros you want for it.

My comments have (and will continue to be) consistent - the interface is poor (very anti-Mac)., there is no documentation, the quality of the graphics is at best poor and your product won't even run the complete datasets that you provide with it. Basically the effort of a well meaning amateur. My suggestion is that you leave the task of providing statistical software to people that know both statistics AND how to program.
