Orange Micro's FTP site is up again, so I got their firmware and installed it. The non-boot version made MacOS X crash every single time when the system was waking from sleep. I installed the MacOS 9-bootable firmware and things are now working well.
While the Orange Micro site was down, Matthew Reilly kindly sent me a note saying that Advansys firmware will also work. The flashing utility is exactly the same. The non-boot firmware had the crashing on wake problem, so I tried the Orange Micro site again and noticed that it was finally up again (after a downtime of about a month).

By any chance did you keep the updater for the Grappler 906F? If so, is there any way you might be able to post it somewhere just for a bit? Thanks,
Mike

I could really use a copy of this, too. If there is a site that has software for now-defunct companies, I would appreciate the link. Thanks, Ben
