So far 6.0.204 works perfectly for me. Was able to back up and restore flawlessly from DVD-R.
The interface has NOT gotten any more complicated since version 5.1 as one reviewer stated. In fact I find the new options/preferences to be logically placed. Fundementally it's the same interface as version 5.1. Granted you have to jump around a little to find all the options, but that hasn't changed any since 5.1.
As for the claims that they are more interested in Windows? If you look at what drives are compatible with Retrospect you will see that there are far more drives listed as QUALIFIED for Mac as opposed to those very same drives being UNTESTED under Windows.
I would however recommend reparing disk permisions before every back up.
My System: Dual 2.5 G5, Using Apple 4x DVD-R media.
