Existing users, 
From the first day I used NotePad Deluxe it was, for me, the best implementation of a Mac-like, flexilbe, intuitive Note Pad. It's now been a long time since anyone from the developer's site has shown any indication of updating this app.
It's dead! Too Bad.
For others who knew and love NPD, what is the next best Note Pad?
