Great application but this new version doesn't quit properly on my G4 PB under 10.3.8. The app window closes but the app remains open in the menu bar and the dock. I must do a forced quit to quit the app.

That is a unique work around. Seems strange to set an applications prefernce settings from the Get Info Window. Thanks for the heads up.Tuesday, March 22 2005 @ 05:04 AM PST

Yes, it *is* very odd to set prefs in the Get Info window. I wouldn't have ever guessed to look there.Wednesday, April 20 2005 @ 07:42 AM PDT

Same problem here running 10.3.8. It also made me reboot in order to get the network back up. Probably a small softwaretweak is all that is necessary.Sunday, March 20 2005 @ 09:20 PM PST

Had the same "not quitting" problems. Unchecking the GPS plugin in "Get info" fixed the problem for me. Thanks for the heads-up on this!Sunday, March 20 2005 @ 11:23 PM PST

Alf Watt - thanks so much. I got tired of having to force quit and was going to try to revert back to a previous version. You're solution worked perfectly. I'd buy you a beer if I could!Tuesday, March 22 2005 @ 08:53 AM PST

The new GPS Plugin has a bug which will cause this problem when certain bluetooth phones are in use. If you don't have a GPS you can disable the plugin that's causing the problem:Select iStumbler in the finder and choose 'Get Info...'
Expand the Plug-ins section and un-check the box next to: 'GPS.plugin'
Restart iStumbler,
