The demo crashed my 867 Powerbook w/ 1GB of RAM. I took a risk anyway and bought it. They fixed the bugs. The demo does NOT crash in the purchased version. It's unfortunate that Propellerheads is going to mislead customers into thinking that they're computers cannot handle 3.0 when it actually CAN. So, don't judge 3.0 by the demo song in the demo version. The demo song crashed for me in the demo version as well. But once I recieved my copy the demo loaded and played just fine. I'm telling you, if you are a knob twiddler, 3.0 is the way to go. It's easily the best version of Reason yet. It's made for the live musician. The combinator is sick. I still would have liked to see audio recording though. It would be great to implement vocals live.

Hi,Does the commercial version (unlike the demo version) handle the pre-v.3.0 refills? There is an oddle of free (and pretty cool) refills, many of which I have used all over my projects. I simply cannot upgrade to v.3.0 (nuclear hexapentesimal G16@1.5 ZigaHerz... or not).
Thanks, Tristan
