aside from the general stupidity of them asking us to register freeware BEFORE allowing us to try it, i haven't been able to use this after installing it over a day ago because they haven't replyed to my registration request yet. I'd like to be able to say something good about the software, but so far, it's just been more hassle than it's worth, especilly for what's supposed to be easy-to-use free software. the registration doesn't seem to be automated, (which is stupid since it's handled through a form on their website), and the delay is too long on top of that.

synergy may not be free, but at least they let you try it for free for a week before bugging you about registration. these guys hammer you with it right off the bat, lock you out of using the softare until you do, and for $0 at that. and previous comments have even said that this software phones home! what's up with that?!

i'lll continue to wait patiently until i'm able to actually use this software, and when i'm able to, i'll give it a fair chance on my system, but until then, i cannot recommend it, due to the user experience
