Kill Monty is based on KDC as the developer screen and credits show.

It features much improved graphics, multiple room levels (vs 1), boss monsters (vs 1), enemies (vs 1). It also allows you to max out your weapons by grabbing multiples of the same power ups, plus keyboard control, improved audio, etc etc.

At $12.95 Kill Monty is a great, and low cost(!) Original Mac Game. If you like it, buy it to support the author of KDC and everyone who worked on Kill Monty.
