Mac OS strikes back

Feedback Type:  Usage Tip

Contributed by: normnod Sunday, March 13 2005 @ 09:01 AM PST

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

Recommend Product: YES

Used this driver on all versions of X up to WWDC Tiger - later build I have has broken it. Apple seemed to have noticed this thing and decided to stop it working, shame on you! If Apple won't support cardbus BlueTooth somebody should. BTW to previous poster, it must be a VERSION 3 card to work.

I am not allowed to comment on Mac OS X v10.4 compatibility (yet).

Working on it - Alex Traud

Actually Card Blues Suite works but it looks like the Card Blues Enabler fails. This part is a workaround for an Apple bug and well there is the Apple bug back again. I am awaiting my copy of Mac OS X v10.4 to analyze this issue.

Mac OS strikes back - MEPeterUSA

I just installed Tiger. The Card Blues suite does not work for me anymore. I cannot pair my Palm device anymore or send files to it. If no update available soon will have to go back to Panther. Glad I made a carbon copy of the entire hard drive.

Actually Alex, you're right, should have been more specific. Card Blues moubts the card and reports it correctly but I can't pair anything with it in released version of Tiger. Slightly earlier build would allow pairing but the mouse pointer would not move, WWDC build worked perfectly!

Heya all, mine's broke as well, just gets stuck on 'Gathering additional information about your mobile phone." and never finishes paring. Card Blues Suite is great, I hope it's fixable.
