On my 10.3.8 system, version 5.3 of MacAlly's mouse driver doesn't recognize my Ice Mouse, making the mouse functions impossible to program. I've gone back to version 4.2.2, which still works fine. (The English in version 5.3 could use some touching up, also.)

I found the same thing.
Using 10.3.8 and went back to 4.2.2. I didn't screw with it. I swapped them from the trash and restarted again and it's back to being fine.
