Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

Hate to otherwise mar what would have been 5 stars from me, but it gets a solid 3 because the author's level 5 title is not exactly what I want my kids to see. Luckily I found that text editing the level name out was quite easy.. Suggestion, because this will be a popular game with kids, why not change the level title to "what the cluck!" instead?

"what the cluck" ... Sounds like a speech impediment. Brilliant!

Cluck that. - supercrisp1

I’m sick of living in a world of, by and for children. Put your save-the-kids hand-wringing where the sun don’t shine. If a kid’s old enough to play a computer game, they’ve heard the word, and even if they haven’t there’s no harm in it. If you want bible school games, play them.

Apparently supercrisp1 has the maturity of a five year old, so we should assume he speaks for the children out there.

Your viewpoint is just plain biased and kid-unfriendly. After all, parents do have a right to be concerned about what their children see and hear. It would be easy for a parent to avoid this software, but it's just as easy for the developer to change the level name to something innocuous (and even witty). Lighten up and learn to like and tolerate kids, as they are your job insurance.

The poor are always with us.... - supercrisp1

I may be biased--which in your use no doubt means having an opinion at variance with yours--but my opinion is not unfriendly to children. It's simply that the whole world doesn't revolve around children. After all, children one day become adults, and we adults have a right to play. And, secondarily, my point is that I don't think obscenity, foul language, is harmful to children unless it's used to abuse them. These are MY values, and I offer them in counterpoint to other values. Again, I say, I am rubber and you are glue; if you have no more to offer than name-calling, how do you have any ethical ground on which to stand? (I am also quite certain that, even if I did have an unnatural antipathy to children, that people would still produce more of them, despite any insane effort you might impute to me. My job is quite secure. Moreover I have to spend a great deal of effort disabusing my students of the mindless prudery they accumulate here in the Midwest, so my outburst here is a product of my efforts to do my job well.)

I bet you are sick of living in a world with children in it. You are exactly what is wrong with this country and this world.
I would suggest you have a child of you own but you would be too clucked up a parent.
The world does not revolve around you either. I feel sorry for your students, but I am pleased you are safely away in the midwest to do any harm to most of us.

Lock your kids in a closet and feed them crumbs through a small hole in the door. Then you won't have to world about subjecting them to real life.

Life is ugly, make your kids street smart and they will survive when they go off to collage instead of them thinking the world is their la la world play ground and there is nothing that can harm them.

You can bet the parents of abducted collage girls are just like you.

I'm a grandfather of 4, and protecting your kids from that mean bad old world is only harming them and is a passive form of child abuse. The world gets uglier everyday. Don't send your kids into it uneducated about it's dangers.
