Recommend Product: YES

No company or entity can afford to manufacture and ship CD's "for free." Get a grip.

In the meantime, YDL is a very nice Linux distro for Macintosh.

Considering I just received three different distros of Ubuntu in the mail this week, without paying for them, I'd say you need to reevaluate your statement.

Ubuntu definitely ships discs completely free of charge. No charge for shipping; no charge for media; no taxes; no cost. I just received my box with 20 x86 sets (install + live cd) and 10 PPC discs. I've been handing them out at user group meetings.

As to which is better, YDL or Ubuntu, I don't have an opinion yet. YDL has served me well on PowerPC for a long time. I have no complaints.
