I, too, am plagued by this bizarre behavior. I also notice under "Current Versions" in the left hand column the message is "Not Installed." So, VT does not recognize the currently installed VT version (3.5.3), either. Does anyone have a clue as to what is happening? Quicksilver, 1 GIG RAM, System 10.3.8.

I posted a comment earlier, and also send an email to VersionTracker support. They replied promptly, and have already fixed the problem.Here is their responce:
I apologize for the difficulties. This was a problem with the server that VersionTracker Pro connects to. Please quit and restart the VersionTracker Pro application and see if it works for you now - let us know if you still encounter errors.
