If you are using Safari and you may not be able to download - This is a bug with Safari. How to get around it (as posted by rbenezra in a reply to another post)

"When you get the windo wwith garbled text, just copy the url from the Safari window and paste it into the download window (which can be opened from the "window" menu in Safari). The downlaod will begin immediately."

No, not a Safari bug - BMerlin

Actually, no. It is not a Safari bug. Safari is behaving exactly as it should.

The problem lies with the web server. It sends Content-Type: text/plain for the stuffit file, when it should be sending a more reasonable application/octet-stream. So, Safari displays it as a text file since that's what the server says it is.
