WTF?

Feedback Type:  Review

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: NO

I was editing my extensions settings when I found one setting entitled "Brainf**k" that was attributed to SubEthaEdit as a "DoNothing Document".

That was right before I trashed this stinking app.

WTF? - wgscott

That is a computer language, and the editor has a syntax highlighting module written for it. It is perfectly innocent.

"brain f-u-c-k"
is totally innocent? I think I will pass on that.

Yes, totally innocent in that they are implementing the syntax for a language.
It's not the subethaedit developers' fault if someone else decides to design a programming language and give it a rude name.

If perl were actually called porn, it would still be a useful programming language.

brainf-u-c-k is a programming language which sub-etha-edit supports. It's a kind of toy language that was designed as a kind of game to make the most obscure and difficult to understand language possible, hence the name. Think before you post idiotic statements - SubEthaEdit is a wonderful app, and your misinformed opinion might stop people from finding out for themselves.
