One of the things said to have been fixed in this version is screen update speed. If anything, this aspect has been made much worse to the extent that i find this version absolutely unusable.

If the scan window is left alone, scan operation is good. But if I need to resize the window and or move it on the screen, the subsequent redraw is very erratic and jerky and the use of the cursor is lost for many seconds until the final desired size or position is reached in a series of ungainly jumps. And this is on a quick PMG5/dual2.5 with 6800 Ultra graphics. Is there some kind of conflict between 8.1.35 and my hardware?

This version is terrible so I have gone back to Epson Scan.
