I stopped using the 8.1.2x series as there were some issues with zooming vs buffer. The .18 was working fine for me. This version is much better in many respects - the redraw after zoom or adjustments is very fast. However 2 things I noticed -

1 - the mouse seems to "lock" after holding the button on a control or the title bar to move the window, and then that control will follow the mouse even after the button is released. So you think your done and move the mouse, and the adjustment goes along with. Just click a second time to release. Or is this a new feature?

2 - I was scanning a small item 1.5 by 2 inchs. The scan was along the 2 inch axis and took forever at 300 dpi - I finally aborted afer several minutes. If I incresed the scan are to about 5 inches the scan was very quick - same resolution. Don't know if this a HW or SW issue (epson 2450 photo)
