I was trying to help a friend recover his home directory this morning. It had got lost, and fsck was reporting an 'invalid extent entry' that it could do nothing about.

We bought and downloaded this on my machine, put his in target disk mode and mounted it on mine as an external drive, and DiskWarrior found and fixed his directory. Your mileage may vary, but for us it was worth every cent of the $80.
