I honestly can't find any reason for AOL to have an interest in Mac Users other than accepting the same monthly fee's that are charged to a PC user. In return for that payment, Mac users receive about 1/2 the features that the PC user gets for the same amount of money. In my opinion it would be justifiable to charge a reduced monthly fee to a MAC User that is porportionate for less features to that of the PC User. I have complained about this for at least 7-8 years to no avail. It also frustrated me to have a PC User compare my Mac System to theirs solely based on what AOL could do, and nothing more to justify their reasoning that a PC is superior.
I only use AOL now when I absolutely have to use my authorization under a friends account to send an email to an AOL User who can't seem to open it up otherwise, or who lacks the knowledge of the PC and the Internet. Someday AOL is going to need to play catchup and they will find a large block of people who are going to need a lot of convincing to listen to them at all. AOL, are you listening now?
