Just e-mailed the following to Mindola tech support: I just downloaded the first "SuperNotecard" version, opened one of my .mln files, and was happily working for a while... then it started eating my data. I am not sure what happened. I saved the file, then noticed that one of my decks disappeared from the Explorer. But that deck was still open in the main window. I clicked into another deck, and then was unable to get back to the lost deck. I checked the trash, and it wasn't there. I added some more cards, and tried to figure out what I had done to make this happen. I couldn't, but then other cards started just.... disappearing.
I ended up quitting and telling SN not to save the project, so it wouldn't lose all my data... I reopened, and the data is there again.
Anyway, I don't know if this is some really unusual problem, or what, but for the moment, I recommend working only with files that are well backed up, and keep your old version of Miss Lonelynotes around to work with if you are working on something indispensable.
Other than that... many of the improvements in the new version are great! But of course if data is disappearing, it doesn't matter. :( Hopefully someone will be able to figure out why this is happening so I can upgrade. :)

Just some additional info -- the folks at Mindola have already contacted me, so they are being very responsive. :) Basically I'm just posting here to let people know they should be careful and back up their work, just in case. But I'm sure this will all be fixed soon. :)Reply to This
