If i don't want to compress the video is there any way to split video ts files onto two discs, what's the use of copying it if it looks like you took a camcorder to the movie theater.?

you could always leave off the extra features, and just bring the movie itself over, that should result in no additional compression (although it still has to generate the new .vob files, which still takes time)
