Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: NO

When you hit the clean button and check all the boxes, it will get half way through and the give a Kernel and freeze up the computer. Now I just tried using it again and just used the default, all went OK, I think. I then went to the maintenance button and ran that. All seemed to be OK. Then I noticed a real slow down of my system and of the internet connection. I worked all day yesterday with that. What I had to do was put in a new network location in system prefs. I had to use Apple disk utility to repair perrmissons, and that was after the OnyX perrmission repair that didn't work. I had to do a Pram Zap restart. Now I'm back to where I was before using OnyX just this last time. One other thing, I post AFTER chevyorange but his post keeps coming up as new. What kind of a HACK is that, NOT COOL. Must be from a red state.

OK, well - TECHWORKS

I perused the entry for Cocktail and Lo! They have similar problems there. It looks to be the order of the items- for instance if you clear caches before repairing permissions, perhaps? Shareware, the developers don't respond? On Freeware, like this program, I bet there is no response either. Any have experience contacting the developer(s)?

Think I'll stick with the standard Apple tools until the next version, hoping it'll work with G4 desktop and TiBook without problems. Or I may try the defaut on my desktop where it seems less likely
