You added a BOUNCING ICON???

I need to know whether this is an option or a "feature" before installing this version. Nothing would compensate for being annoyed by a bouncing icon every time I sweep for mail (every 15 minutes - with a lot of volume).

Don't worry - michaeltsai

Being able to bounce the Dock icon is a long-standing SpamSieve feature. It can be disabled in the Notification tab of the preferences, and it is off by default. The change in 2.2.4 is a tweak of the circumstances in which SpamSieve will bounce the icon, if you've already checked that preference.

Thanks! I just realized I could check that in the current preferences.

Should have known better anyway.

This actually makes an interesting point in your favor though. I check preferences and read manuals pretty religiously. SpamSieve works so well that it has never occurred to me to check into the preferences before. That's why I didn't know about the notification. Actually, there is some interesting stuff in there. :)

Thanks for a brilliant life-saver program. I used one of your early competitors previously (thankfully a while back now), and you blow the others out of the (spam-infested) water! Thanks!

Best,

- Bill
