Audio bug not fixed in 10.3.8

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

The audio bug that Apple introduced with 10.3.6 update has still not been fixed in 10.3.8. This bug causes heavy distorted audio on PowerMac G4 MDD. The workaround is to plug/unplug phones in the headphones port.
And I find it VERY annoying to have to do that after EACH restart...

Audio bug not fixed in 10.3.8 - mlvaliant25

What's up with Apple? I and some other MDD owners sent in bug reports about the Audio Bug Problem when OSX 10.3.6 was introduced. We're now on OSX 10.3.8 and the Audio Bug went unaddressed! I sure hope the audio bug isn't in OSX 10.4 Tiger, cause that seems to me as the last hope in the solution to the Audio Bug.
