I refuse to add another Menu Bar Extra which dictates its place and can not be moved. If the author can change this, I'm willing to look at it again.

It can't be moved because Apple does not allow Cocoa developers to access the MenuExtra framework. We must be satisfied with the StatusItem framework. Only MenuExtras can be moved, and since we can't use it (we have no idea how it works, the classes, etc), you can't move iSnip.

Sorry.

I see your problem, but it does make it hard in some applications because it can't appear on the menu until you go back to Finder or something similar. Also. it doesn't appear as an application so can't be nominated in 'Spirited Away' to stay visible in the background. But it's a great idea and still very functional! Many thanks!

Looks like you'll have to buck up and try one of the following:

1. Remove some of our menubar add-ons or menu extras.
2. Get a wider display.
3. Don't use this app.

Life is hard work sometimes...
