For all of you who are enamored with Virex 6.1. I used to be too. I've used Virex for years.
But McAfee has released a new version 6.2 apparently. The New DAT files for Feb are for 6.2 so try to update your files if you can.
And try to find the placed on McAfee's site to update 6.1 to 6.2!!! Good luck!

Thanks for the info about lack of compatibility of 6.1 with the latest DATs...I won't bother wasting time on the download and installation.I agree that McAfee's website is a nightmare, always has been...seems to have been designed by a chimpanzee.
VersionTracker's link sends us to a page that seems to be offering a product that possibly has v6.2 in the same package as v7.7 (for OS X). But then I can't figure out how to buy less than 5 licenses.
Looks like it's time to finally give up on McAfee altogether..I already have as far as OS X is concerned.

I've found recently that I can't use 6.1 with the latest DAT files. Anyone found a way to upgrade 6.1 to 6.2 yet?? The Network Assoc. website is a nightmare.Any help gladly received.?
