Last year, my copy of DVD2OneX suddenly stopped working on my dual G5. I contacted the author and was told I should have no problems. Well, two friends who also have G5 towers have had their copies stop working too. One of them wiped his drive and re-installed the program. It worked fine again for months and then stopped working again.
This new version shows me as a registered user, but once again, it does nothing when I select the appropriate VIDEO_TS folder.
I would not advise this program for anyone with a G5 tower since it stops working eventually and the only way to get it operational again is to wipe your drive(s) and reinstall.

Still Doesn't Work On My Dual G5 - jackburger
Hi,IT WILL WORK!!
You must select the VIDEO_TS folder and double click it so the files within the folder become visable.
Than you have selecte the right path
It has nothing to do with the double G5 but with the os-x update for this machines.
Try to read the forum at www.dvd2one.com this helps a lot.

Still Doesn't Work On My Dual G5 - aschaper
Don't know what you are talking about. Works perfectly on a G5 2Ghz since the very first beginning. So far the best compression utility for OS X. I tried all the others and allways got back.Thursday, February 03 2005 @ 10:02 AM PST

You might try typing in the correct path to the VIDEO_TS folder you want to compress manually in the Source field. That works for some people having problems like that...Reply to This
