Used Product For: 1-6 months

msgoldberg... there will only be a delay in saving the recording file out if you're saving it into a format that requires significant CPU to save to (mp3 or AAC), and you are doing it on a relatively slow computer. If you save your recordings to AIFF (which is all the original WireTap supported), your files should be saved instantly.

The preferences are set to .AIFF; I don't understand then, why a 10 min recording takes a min. to save to a file??

Hmmmmm.... I just tried it, and a ten min recording did finish immediately; then why are my others taking so long to download????
