I think what everyone suspects, has happened. I'm guessing that Apple messed up by releasing iMovie HD as an upgrade, when it's probably only available in the new iLife suite. Checking Apple's site, there's no provision for upgrading. If you bought the iLife suite (like I did for $49) I'll bet you better be ready to shell out $79 for the new suite. Apple never has quite grasped the upgrade concept.
