sorry forgot to give stars. The idea of b.m. is cool but crashes and slowing down system performance killed my patience. I only have a 1 MHz G4 which seems to be too lame for that app.

oh yes - you are right. shame on me again that I did not have a look at the "about this mac" box under the APPLE.So that told me now:
1.25 GHz PowerPC G4
1 GB DDR SDRAM
which indeed is significantly better the the 1 MHz machine :-)
