Getting a bit better

Feedback Type:  Review

Product Platform: MacOS,MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

It is very power-consuming and getting slower and slower even with normal file lengths, if there is more than one loaded. During loading and saving files Amadeus nearly gets unresponsive, it doesn't recognize actions correctly, since there is too much delay, and it also slows down the whole machine extremly.

And there are many bugs resp. issues that make working no fun.

  • No way to save window sizes, positions and features (show whole sound)
  • No way to customize the windows/buttons
  • No way to preset a desired sound volume as default; it stays at "full"
  • Clicking in the "whole sound" zooms in instead of focussing this area
  • No button for zooming in (to a preset level) and back to the normal view
  • Zooming moves the focus/selected area out of view
  • Cutting/pasting moves the focus/selected area out of view
  • Useless/annoying alerts (no sound selected)
  • Fade in/out with no shortcuts resp. they don't work; no buttons for that
  • Why two different and thus confusing keys (space and tab) for playback?
  • Loading several files and already manipulating the first one will be disturbed when the second is loaded and this window and later the loading window become topped.
  • And many more

Much to do to make this program serious and working with it productive and fun!
