Ok, so I downloaded Mencoder from Sourceforge [http://mplayerosx.sourceforge.net/] (newest version is 0.7.7, from June 2, 2003). It doesn't look like a 'nix app, and when I double click it, it opens in a typical OS X GUI interface, albeit a particularly nasty one.

So what exactly does DVDibbler DO? It's the front end for an app that already has a front end? I'm utterly confused on this, especially since I've since found countless other "front ends" for Mencoder. Could someone please clear this up for me? I'd much appreciate an explanation. Thanks in advance.
